====== 2008-09-02 Putting something back ====== So I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to PHP, but recently after lots of thought and weighing up the pro's and con's (and there is a lot to weigh up), I have decided to commit to using [[http://www.dokuwiki.org|Dokuwiki]] as a knowledge store for the team in which I work. ===== Beyond the Wiki ===== Grand ideas almost always come with some degree of pain. This I can confirm, after searching for an open source issue tracker appropriate for my needs (and my colleagues), as well as one that either had a Wiki or would integrate well with one. After looking at Trac, Flyspray and Mantis, I finally spent some time with Eventum which seemed to tick all the boxes. ===== Many hours later... ===== After many years of plundering the vast resources of the open source community, it is with great pleasure that I can today put something back. See [[pub:dokuwiki_eventum]] for my efforts (over several late nights) in integrating Dokuwiki and Eventum.
